The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord

Psalm 122:1 (NKJV) I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

If this mess had happened back in the 50’s or before it would have really been a mess, but with the internet and phone service we were able to sort of stay in touch with one another. And before long we can say “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

Proverbs 30:8-9 (NKJV) 8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches—Feed me with the food allotted to me; 9 Lest I be full and deny You, and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God.

Again I think what the enemy has tried to use for BAD our Father will use for GOOD. The enemy is right now telling his followers he has WON but I feel what has happened is we have grown in the Lord and become stronger.

I was thinking about the story in Matthew of “The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares” it is found in Matthew 13:24-30. Actually I think to understand it we should read Matthew 13:3-9 The Lord explains that when the farmer (Pastors, Soul Winners etc) plant seed some falls on the wayside (deaf ears) and the birds eat it and then some fell were there was not much soil (to some that did not get much teaching).

Then there was some that sprang up quickly, but when the sun came out they died (those are the ones that got just enough to teach false doctrine but then die away) Then there is the seeds that fell on good soil (listened and learned and was taught the truths) and it grew and produced good products.

Then we read why we should not try and get rid of the weeds or tares at first and that is because we could kill some good seeds in the process once they had grown up and produced and were harvested then the good will be separated from the bad and the bad will be gathered up and burned (that is hell).

Putting it in Jym’s language the truth will come out and the false teachers will be found out…

I have worked hard and have listened and studied and yes I learn daily and do not claim to know it all. I have learned to listen to the Holy Spirit and even when I am writing I have had to stop and throw it away or even rethink what I was saying. For I want to be one of the ones planted in good sole and produces fruit that is good…

Lord let this show what is going on today is what it is. If it is the harvest and it is the separating the good from the bad. If it is You allowing the truth to come out let it be. Some places of worship have shut the doors and locked them some have ventured into new ground with TV and the INTERNET and RADIO.

Father when we are released and can return to the house of worship let us come back stronger and better in You—let us have grown on good soil and we will and are producing good fruit. I am thinking, right now, the parable in Matthew 7 were it speaks of good fruit and bad fruit. In verse 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Teach us Father use me Father to teach the truth…

I pray this now that we will learn from this teaching and that the one thing that needs to be understood is found in Matthew 7:19-20 (NKJV) 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. I take this statement personal it does not say they will be known it say you will be known.

I thought for years that it was talking about the tree that does not bare fruit. Those trees or people will be cut down but those that follow me and listen to me and does not bear fruit I will be known. Every one that does not teach and do as they should well be cut down and thrown into the fire… Yes that is true however the TEACHER, I feel, I will be known by your fruits… Lord show me and teach me so I can show others what needs to be done. I now pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our true Lord and Savior—AMEN!
