Morning Prayer is about who’s we are and what he has done and will do if only we believe. That seems to be a hard thing for some to do. They can come up with all sorts of excuses, not one holds water but they will try anything but believe…

As Christians We Are To Fear No Evil

by Jym Wells

Psalm 124:2-3 (NKJV) 2 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us, 3 then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;

What does “fear no evil” mean to each of you. To me it means I have turned it all over to God and I am willing to die for it. I have decided that I am not giving in to the world if it cost me everything. I believe in God totally 100% I have given it all to Him and I believe in return, no matter what happens here on this earth one day I will be with Him FOREVER!

Proverbs 31Proverbs 31:30 (NKJV) Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

As a man, husband, that is what our lives should be about. Look at the soul and her walk. We need each other to walk through this world. We all need support and we all need to walk what we talk and show who’s we are.

Saying one is a Christian and not walking it is a lie! Our WALK says who’s we are more that our TALK. Char made a statement this morning and it is so true “do we pray for others when we say we will”. I have asked this question over and over “on Sunday if you walk up front to the Pastor and ask for prayer and he says I will pray for you “ How would you feel as you turned and walked away?”

I know there are times when someone prays for me (most of the time) they will pray and in their prayer they hit a nerve and wake me up. They say something that shows me what is wrong or what I need to do.

I do not type well or speak well in public. That is an excuse not a reason, when these groups were started there was no one worse than me in saying or spelling. Thank God for spell check. I wrote like a 1st grader but in time I have become pretty good at it. Practice Makes Perfect, and that is the truth.

There is not one of us that does not have times when we need prayer and need it bad. That is the time we need to hear or see a prayer not a word (praying). I know if I do not pray right then usually I will forget it. So if I say praying I will write down who and what or I will forget. I have a lot going on when I am here and so it is easy to forget.

The story I loved was Micheal Jordan’s when the other kids were out playing he was up in the gym playing with a basket ball dribbling and jumping, running and weaving. Look how he turned out. What if we practiced what we need to be doing instead of sitting in front of the TV how much better we would be.

Our Bible says we can not serve two Masters so in my life I am making some decisions on what is important what is not. I am full of things that I want to do in fact there is more wants than shoulds in my life most of the time… The enemy is constantly trying to distract me and get me to do something else other than pray or study. I can get distracted in a heart beat if I do not watch myself. We are easily swayed if we are not on guard. Remember we fight not against people but against powers and principalities we know not of…

The enemy is out there working to stop us to distract us. Not just some times but ALL the time. He does not want us praying because he knows our Father will answer and show us what is right. So he wants to distract us to stop us from praying. Here are three verses that we all should keep in our mind 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) 16 REJOICE always, 17 PRAY without ceasing, 18 in EVERYTHING give THANKS; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Even in the bad times give Him thanks for getting you through whatever it is or was. Give Him thanks for walking with you and carrying you when you could not walk anymore. Give thanks in season and out of season in other words ALL THE TIME…

Lord I pray today that we all start practicing what we should be doing and do it. I pray for strength for us to be all that You desire us to be. I pray that we can and will learn to pray about everything that goes on in our life that we grow closer to You and work at being more like You so the world can see You trough us. I now pray this all in the Mighty, Wonderful and Precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…  This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.
