The Morning Prayer is going to be just a little different. Last night at church our Pastor brought up a good point, and I think we all should hear it and pray it today in fact over and over.
Psalm 109:21 (NKJV) But You, O God the Lord, deal with me for Your name’s sake; because Your mercy is good, deliver me.

There is something Lord that I think we have over looked and my Pastor showed it to me last night and I wish to share it here today. As the Shepherd of these groups and pages I feel the responsibility to do so. I pray Lord that I can be the example that I must to be to all. I pray that I share this in the way that I should and those who read it see it as You showed it to me last night.
Are We Being All We Should Be As Christians
Proverbs 17:27-28 (NKJV) 27 He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. 28 Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.
I turned to this last night and it cut me deep. Am I being all that the Lord called me to be or am I just getting by. We, as Christians, are called to a HIGHER STANDARD and we need to be. If we are living like the world why would anyone wish to change and be like us? Are they changing or just believing a lie? What I am saying here is are we being what Jesus died for. Are we living the life we should be living?
Let us look at some scripture and then do some serious thinking…
1 Corinthians 11:1 (NKJV) Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Corinthians 4:16 (NKJV) Therefore I urge you, imitate me.
1 Thessalonians 2:14 (NKJV) For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans,
Ephesians 5:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
I think Paul was and is a good example of how we should be living. Paul practiced what he preached. I feel this is one of the most important things I have ever written about.
When someone looks at us do they see someone or something they would like to be or have? I believe we might just be the only Jesus one sees here on earth. Are they seeing what our Father would like us to be and what Jesus died for. We might just be the only Jesus someone sees! What are they seeing?
Lord I pray this is from You and I ask that we learn to be the example that You desire us to be. That we live our lives as we should being all we should be. Let me be the Shepherd that I am called to be, forgive me for anything that I have done that would turn someone away for You or not see You in me. I ask this all in the Precious name of Jesus our Lord and savior…
