Morning Prayer For 06/07/2018
We are all here on this earth for a while then we go home one day. Our goal should be to take as many with us as possible. We all are a witness for our Lord. The enemy wishes to destroy that witness. He will do anything to make one fall or slip. Then he will tell you that you blew it God is tired of you so why do you keep trying. My question is when you were learning to walk did you get up one day and just take off and never slipped and fell? No, one falls but one gets back up and keeps trying.
We are all a work in progress and we are not perfect nor will we ever be however that does not mean we stop trying. When I started this ministry the logo was a road sign or barricade marker that read “Caution Christian Under Construction” and I am still under construction we all make mistakes and if making a mistake stopped us from going to Heaven—then Heaven would be empty. Jesus did not die to make us perfect He died so we could be free of this world and all of our enemies garbage.
Lord show me the way I should go and Holy Spirit walk with me and tell me when I start to slip or make a wrong turn. Lead me and guide me and let my fruits be many. Teach me to focus on the positive and not the negative teach me to deny the enemy when he starts to whisper in my ear. My pastor Sunday talked about David and Goliath. The Israelite’s all were talking about how big he was and how strong he was, however, David never mentioned it all he said was “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine. David did not look at the size or strength he looked at an enemy of Israel.
1 Samuel 17:37 The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” We all need to look at our enemies the same way as an uncircumcised Philistine, and stop looking at how big and mean he is and remember verse 37, for He did deliver David and He will deliver us…

1 Peter 5:8-9 (MEV) 8 Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him firmly in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

John 10:10 (MEV) The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.
James 4:7 (MEV) Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 3:15 (MEV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and fear.
2 Timothy 1:7 Modern English Version (MEV)
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 (MEV) 3 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may quickly spread and be glorified, even as it did with you. 2 And pray that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men, for not all men have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (MEV) No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not permit you to be tempted above what you can endure, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
John 17:15 (MEV) I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
Luke 22:40 (MEV) When He came there, He said to them, “Pray that you may not fall into temptation.”
Matthew 26:41 (MEV) Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Proverbs 16:7 (MEV) When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies be at peace with him.
Psalm 138:7 (MEV) Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will preserve me; You stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right-hand save me.

2 Timothy 4:18 (MEV) The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for His heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
