Do we believe, I mean to we really believe our Father for 365 times in the Bible we read fear not. Yet we fear. There is nothing man or the enemy can do to us that our Father can not overcome, for we read in Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Men and women of God stand strong and let our Father work through you. Do we think David, as a young boy. Walked up to Goliath and feared him. I do not think so in face in fact David tell him in 1 Samuel 17:46 (NKJV) This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
If that is not faith and trust in our Lord then I have no idea what faith is. A whole army of men shook in their boots at the sight of this Giant and David a young boy faced the giant and told him what was going to happen. Not what might happen not what could happen but what was going to happen, This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand. In fact David even told him what he was going to do, I will strike you and take your head from you.
Now the whole army of the Israelite’s were shacking in their boots and David, a kid with a sling shot and a rock told the giant what was going to happen. That is the faith that we need. Not would could happen but what is going to happen. It is time for us, as Christians, to wake up and take a stand for our Lord and trust Him.
I am not saying that we need to kill a giant I am saying we need the faith and trust of David in our lives not hoping that our God will work but believing He will walk us through whatever stands before us. The Bible is full of this over and over. It is time that we start believing our Lord and stop hoping in our Lord… The only thing we have to fear is fear itself and Jesus has already defeated that so let us live a FEAR LESS life under the shield of our Father.
