It has been a while since I have written anything much and I think it is time for me to get started. I was thinking of a couple of verses the other day and I think I will use them today.
This is a subject that I have heard preached many times. I think a lot of Christians take what Paul was saying the wrong way. I think what Paul was saying he can do everything God desires him to do. Paul was a man of God and he was saying that God will see him through all that he had to do for Him. In fact, he even lays it out in verse number 13 what he is saying.

We sometimes think God will give us all the things of the world we want. God desires or wishes us to take care of His work and not worry about worldly things. So what I am saying is we need to study verse 8 and understand that these verses are a lot deeper than worldly desires and as Christians, we need to practice God’s will not our will…
If we are really saved we will desire to do his will. For example when is the last time we told someone about Jesus’ saving grace? Or helping out someone that needs our help? Doing the little things can sometimes bring us great joy. Paul also tells us these things, Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
So I hope this gives us all something to think about today. I feel that time is short for some of us and we all need to get busy doing our Father’s will.
