Lord we are here again so thank You for allowing us another day. I woke up this morning not sure what to write but I think the Holy Spirit just got my attention with and old story. It fits right in to what is going on today in America and the world. What do we do when we are facing evil in this world?
Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Believe it our not there is an evil in this world and our Father knew it was coming and He has equipped us with the tools to fight it. We have everything we need to win this battle. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
When David was a young boy he faced a giant named Goliath. If you read the story I think you will see what I am referring to the Israelite’s talked about how big he was, the size of his spear and shield and on and on and David had one thing to say. The giant is an uncircumcised Philistine. Well we are facing one today.
Father when David faced Goliath there was no fear in him and I believe that we, here in America, have to face our giant the same way. I am not saying we need a slingshot and a rock. Our slingshot is the word of God and our strength is the Holy Spirit.
Look at Gideon and the battle against Midianites he had an army of 32,000 men and the Lord said there was to many. Now think about this they are about to face and army of 135,000 and the Lord tells him he has to many so Gideon was told to tell them that if they did not desire to be there to go home and 22,000 left that left Gideon with 10, 000 men to fight a 135,000.
Then God says you still have to many men. He told him to take them to the water and let them drink. The ones that dip there hand in the water and drink send them home and he did so. Now there is only 300 men left and God says OK now we can fight. 300 against 135,000 wow can we as Christians take that challenge? Well the in of the story they won and never fired a shot or through a spear or used their swords. That is our God at work and we need to listen to Him and do what He says to do.
Lord I pray today that we all learn to listen to and for the Holy Spirit and remember who’s we are. Let us learn to do has You would have us to do. Without You we are on a sinking ship and will drown, We need You Father to know and understand what is going on. I believe our Government is full of the enemy and needs to be fixed. Whatever You wish to do I myself is listening and will do. Let us see who is with You Father! I now pray this all in the wonderful and mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
