Daily Devotional
Morning Prayer is the fuel for the day to get us going in the right direction. It is the strength needed to hold us up and together. How many times have we heard or said “Let go and let God” and then instantly get in His way…
Our Father knows what it will take to get our attention. I can say that because I have been there and I have gone through it. And thank God I listened from underneath the bottom of the barrel. Yes I was hard headed and yes that is what was needed for Him to wake me up and get my attention.
He got me in a place where there was no way to look but up. He loved me enough to do that. He did not give up on me until He got an answer from me. A yes I accept or a no I do not, and thank our Father I said yes. It has not been easy and sometimes it still is not easy. I am not good at asking for help but that is how it gets done.
Father, You know the needs You know what is needed. Yes there are financial needs however there are other needs as well. Father nothing is hidden from You. You are all knowing and all seeing, you know the needs and You want to take care of us so I am humbly asking for your help.
We all have needed and wants and You know the difference You know what is needed and what is wanted. I do not and have never wanted riches all I want is what we have to be sufficient for us to live. I know years ago is different than today and the needs then were different and yet the same. I am sure there were wants and needs way back in the days of Peter, Paul, John and all the others.
Times change things and yet they are still the same. You know and you take care. You receive all the glory from me when it happens Father and I know what I promised when I asked. And I also know my short memory span. However the Holy Spirit has reminded me and I will do it.
So here we are now and some are wondering what I am writing about. It is a promise I made our Father awhile back. It was a promise about giving and receiving, and I need to repent for I did not keep my end of the bargain. I am not sure if I was blinded by the enemy or if my brain did not remember however it did not happen and I thought about it as I am writing.
Father forgive me and help my memory, I did not do it on purpose and it will stop. Help my short coming and help me with my memory. In Jesus name I ask this for the one thing I do not wish to do and that is to let You down as I have done before…

Matthew 11:28-29 (MEV) 28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
My prayer today is that we all learn to walk in the ways of our Lord and lay our burdens down. That we all learn to lean on and trust in our Father and His love for us. The name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior I do pray this all–AMEN!
