MORNING PRAYER For Friday November 6, 2020

Well today I was thinking again and that gets me in trouble at times. In the Biblical times the same thing went on but the difference was how they dealt with it. My Pastor used the story of Daniel and what happened. Well it is not to different today. What I am going to use is about David

Psalms 37:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

Lord, I feel what is being said in these Scriptures is the evil doers are pulling out all stops but we are not to be envious of them for they will be put in their place quickly. They may win not but loose in the end which is eternity.

The Heritage of the Righteous and the Calamity of the Wicked

by Shepherd Jym Wells

Lord, the thing I have noticed about David he repents when he messes up and does not go back there. Yes he is like most of us Christians, he made mistakes however he hit his knees and repented and moved on and his faith never wavered. That is where we need to get.

We see in verses 5-6 what we need to do. Psalm 37:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

So no matter who wins we must commit our ways to the Lord and trust Him no matter what. He will bring us through it and we will be victorious, the enemy will try to discourage us but we have to stand strong and give the battle to Him.

Then we will find, Psalm 37:9-11 (NKJV) 9 For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

When we do give it all to Him, He will work it all out as we see through the Bible time after time. Look at what happened to Jesus just so we could go to heaven. Over and over they tried everything to catch Him or discourage Him and it never did and will never work if we put all of our trust in Him…

Memory Verse

Psalm 37:23-24 (NKJV) 23 The steps of a good man are [a]ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Lord I pray today that we learn and grow in Your knowledge, and trust in You for all. I pray that we should know more about the what to do and the how to do. Lord I pray that we will grow in Your love, wisdom and knowledge. I pray and thank You for the protection and understanding of Your will. I thank You Lord for loving us and taking care of us all in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus I do pray this all—AMEN!
