Morning Prayer For Saturday March 30, 2019

The morning prayer right now I am trying to understand what was given me or was it me hoping, I find deception sneaks in from time to time, I have been dealing with this bug for a week and I think maybe I was hoping or maybe wishing to much.

Prayer is, I will not say, the most important part of my life or day, but I will say it is right up there if not the top close to it. I know my faith is up there and my salvation and the love of my Father. And on and on all I know is I depend on the Holy Spirit to guide me through.

Please Lord show me the way today. I am tired, I am weak, and humble I can not do this without You. I do not desire to do this without You. The one thing I do know is I am not doing this for fame or fortune. I have asked You time after time why me, and I get the same answer every time.

Some times thing come against us, I think, to strengthen us. Sometimes to teach us and most of the time we will try to do it on our own, but what we need to do is remember who is in charge. Our Lord is in charge of everything thing that goes on in our lives. The problem is the world, we try and do things on our own first…

When there was no God in the family, or very little. He was never talked about or read about. He was never prayed to or read about. Then the world was what was turned to. Not saying that was right just saying that is a fact. Those born in a Christian family, I should say a REAL Christian family was raised to pray and believe. Who learned about Jesus the Father and the Holy Spirit or Ghost.

I was nearly 40 before I surrendered and gave my life to him. Yes I had heard about Him but never had Him explained to me. I think we as Christians speak to others like they already know and believe they just have not accepted. Most do not really understand at all about Jesus. They might know the name but do not understand.

I remember when I got involved in soul winning. I remember if I had not prayed with anyone to come to Jesus I was not as good as some of the others in church. Then one day my eyes were opened when I read Matthew 28:19-20 all at once it hit me verse 19 “MAKE DISCIPLES” NOT win souls but MAKE DISCIPLES “TEACHING them to OBSERVE all things I have commanded you”. And adding verse 18 to the mix as well…

My life changed that day when I figured out it was not numbers it was souls that really got and understood what was happening. I started studying and reading and I taught me. The first thing that I got a hold of was. I had read that we were joint heirs with Jesus so that means we have powers.

The scripture talking about Matthew 21:21 (MEV) Jesus answered them, “Truly I say to you, if you have FAITH and DO NOT doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed, and be thrown into the sea,’ it will be done. I understood the mountain was not a hill but a problem any problem.

So then I looked and found the verse about binding and loosing Matthew 18:18 (MEV) “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Out of all the scriptures I studied I found this scripture and it has changed my thinking from that day to now about SOUL WINNING. Matthew 12:43-45 (MEV) 43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation.”

Empty, Swept, and Put in Order. As I read and studied I found putting the last part of verse 45 in today’s language—If you are not willing to teach them and pray with them and teach them who they are now they would be better off and left alone with one demon. For now they have 8 demons.

Empty yes the person accepted Jesus, has no idea who Jesus actually is and the power given to them. Swept out meaning there was no demon there now, and put in order meaning they had accepted Jesus. We need to be ready to teach them who they are in the Lord and what to do when the attacks come from the enemy. How to deal with them…

From that day my idea about Soul Winning Changed from numbers to People serving God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit or Ghost. Thank You Father for reminding me where I was and were I am. Thank You for allowing me to be here to teach others about You and Your will… I pray verse 10 of the Lords Prayer Matthew daily… Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus’ precious name I do pray this all and I pray that I do not forget it. Sometimes I forget who’s I am and why I am here. Forgive me Father for my sins—AMEN!
