The Morning Prayer today is about giving thanks to the Lord. Let us be all that we should be in all we do. Simple things like at the store when we say thank you to the clerk or the cashier as God bless to it. Let us be proud of the Lord.
Giving Thanks To The Lord
Psalms 105:1 (NKJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Thank You Father for waking me up this morning thank you for the nights rest. There is nothing that he does not know about. We all are normal people and we all sin. However do we all repent and ask for forgiveness. I can remember when the Lord was not in my life. I was something else I was a 100% sinner. When I got saved I still slipped and I still do today. Not as much but yes some.
Proverbs 4:13 ()NKJV) Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; keep her, for she is your life.
Lord our understanding is in Your knowledge is found in Your word and we need to learn and understand it. It will not forsake us the question is will we forsake it. We live in a sinful world, what we have to remember this place is not OUR HOME we are only passing through.
This stuff we have here we stay here when we go home. If I take anything I will take the Bible. What I am looking forward to is talking to and listening to the writers of the Bible. Such wisdom and knowledge is there and we well be walking with them not reading about them.
The Bible has taught me that this life is hard sometimes and we have to trust in the Lord to get us through those places. Some will not except or want what we have. That is there choice, our Father is everywhere he can be found on the radio, or TV even in magazines. He is truly everywhere here, but there are people who have never heard the world of God and until that happens we are not going home.
So let us get busy and be Brave, be Strong, and know what we are talking about. We do that by studying the Bible. When we were in school we had homework that we had to do. We had to study to pass in school. Well we need to study the Bible also.
The question of the day is; Do we STUDY the Bible as much as we watch TV? Or is it on Sunday Morning at church. Do we KNOW the Bible? Do we use the Bible when talking to some one? It is good to let them read it and see that it is really there.
Today is a day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it…
