My morning Prayer is one of the biggest things that keeps me going. My morning Prayer has and does prove to me over and over that there really is a God. That He really does love me and cares for me. I have never been one to just jump into something and believe totally in it.
Proverbs 23:6-7 (MEV) 6 Do not eat the bread of him who has an evil eye, neither desire his delicacies; 7 for as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
Salvation
When I got saved I did so because God, or Father reveled Himself to me in a way that NO man could ever do. And there are many quote unquote gods out there that are just something to lean on that does not work. I never was into much of anything but music, drugs, and booze. OH yes and smoking.
The evening I got saved they all left in the snap of ones fingers they were gone… Did I try again yes however there was no desire or want for them anymore and that showed me there is a Father that loves me and that is why I am here now. If there was no God I would have walked away from this a long time ago.
Old Friends
Last night I went to see an old friend he is a Gospel Singer who I met back in 1982 or 83. He was singing with Gold City Quartet when we met. His name is Ivan Parker he was here in Jackson last night.
It was so nice to get to see him and talk with him. As I was leaving I had him and his son to sign my Bible I have full of signature and he said has he handed it back we will have to do this again in another 35 years…
You know it is interesting to listen to and watch people that love the Lord. That is not something that one can be phony about, Or at least to me anyway for if one watches one can see the real and the unreal.
Our Father’s Will
God will always show one if they really love Him and desire His help. He is always ready, willing and able if we just ask then listen…
Listen is the part that we all need to practice on, we need to be still and know He is God, Psalm 46:10 (MEV) Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
