Feeling Or Seeking Knowing But Trying Our Way Anyway

Feeling that sometimes we try to do thing on our own first… Knowing it never works however we do have to keep on trying I thought these two scriptures might help us…

Devotional Scriptures

1 Chronicles 16:11 (MEV) Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.

1 Chronicles 16:14 (MEV) He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

Trying To Do Things On Our On

How many times have I tried to do it on my own? I can not count them. Thinking sometimes the Lord just sits and shakes His head and laughs at me. Know where to go but sometimes we just have to try. And it never works. Then we get it and we sometimes wish we had not and if we do not get it then maybe we should try praying.

Amiss is our problem we pray asking for something that is not His will. That is why I choose 1 Chronicles 16:11… We need to SEEK Him first. For He knows what is best for us and what we need. Yes I said need, we sometimes get need and want mixed up.

Seeking Our Father

There is a the reason we need to SEEK Him continually, not just sometimes, but, all the time. We need His strength and His wisdom in all that we do.

When one is a Christian and I did say IS not hopes or is trying to be, IS a Christian then we seek His face and understand His judgments or at least trust them. Our Father knows what is best of us and again the question come.

We have read many time Matthew 7:9-11 (MEV) 9 “What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a snake? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

I hope this strengthens, those that read this devotional, strength and trust in our Lord God. My prayer today is that we all learn to walk in and trust in Him completely…

Isaiah 41:10 (MEV) Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

I now pray this all in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus Christ–AMEN!
