One’s heart I started this devotional out with a question for each of us to answer. Where is one’s heart is it on things of this world, money or riches, or is it really on God? I pray that we consider that question closely and seek out the truth…

One's Heart, Where Is It On Things Or God
Scripture Of The Day

Matthew 6:19-21 (MEV) 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not break in nor steal, 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Do We Have Treasures Stored Up

I am not talking about keeping things for retirement, (which I did not do) nor am I saying we should not have nice things. What I am saying is these things more important that our Father? If so then they have become ones god.

Are We Storing Up Treasures In Heaven

This is the desire of my heart. Sometimes I wonder if I am putting what I think is needs, before our Father. I do believe there is a very thin line between needs and greed. And we have to decide which side of that thin line we are walking on.

Believing where ones treasure is there is their heart as well. There are times that we need to listen to that small still voice and do what it is saying. It is hard sometimes because we get wrapped up in this world and mistake greed for need.

This is so true in America today… For those of us that has not much has more than a large amount of people in the world. However we live in a world and a country that bases you by what you have and what you wear more than who you really are. I do not need a $3000 suit or $1000 pair of shoes or drive a $200,00 car to know who I am.

Who Am I

I am a spirit filled, born again, Bible toting, God fearing, Jesus loving Christian. And if one does not like me because I am not driving or wearing what they feel I need. That is there problem not mine.

The devotional today is short and to the point and I do feel that is the way it is with our Lord. Pick a side and get on it and get busy… Heaven or hell that is the only two choices.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…

Memory Verse May 25, 2019 1 Corinthians 10:13 (MEV) No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not permit you to be tempted above what you can endure, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
