Subject For Todays Prayer
This morning prayer today is about we honoring our Military. It is about the good and the bad that gave their lives saving the FREEDOM that this country, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. They gave their lives so that we might live free.
This country has and is forgetting about them. Our youth have not been taught about WW1 or WW2. I am not sure if they are even taught about the Viet Nam war. These men and women gave there lives for us. I do not believe anyone died in those wars expecting it to happen. I mean went there believing they were not coming back.
The people now in the military today are there for a purpose. And we have Professional Politicians sitting in Washington and in the Capitals of the States making more money a year than most if not all the military. Those Professional Politicians care less about us than anyone in the military. They are there to line their pockets with money that they have lied cheated and stole for, at our expense.
And on top of that there are quote unquote, Christian preachers standing in pulpits spreading lies not preaching they truth to line there pockets as well. I am not saying all nor am I saying money or being rich is wrong. What I am saying is not preaching the truth is wrong. Telling people what they want to hear not what they should hear is wrong.
I have noticed that fewer people, that respond, are responding to the morning prayer. I believe it is because I am praying (writing down) about things they do not want to hear so they are choosing to not reading it so they can say, I didn’t know.
I believe on that day of judgment our Father will replay the prayer that the did not read and why they did not read it. Then those words that none wants to here “depart from me for I never knew you” is spoken. Is the wealth of this world worth it that is the question.
I had the pleasure of being in a church with one of the very wealthy men in America. He is or was (am not sure if he is still alive or not) one of the owners of a very large business. He was in church doing what he should and one of the people that had it all but put God first in his and his families life.
Money is the root of most if not all evil. People lie, cheat, steal to get it. They horde it and never have enough. One of the richest people in America was asked one day when is enough, enough. He responded just a little more. Money is like a drug the more you get the more you want. Then there are those of us that do not have it. I do understand about living from hand to mouth.
We do not have a lot we do get by and usually just barely. However we have more than a lot of people in this world… What is needed is not wanted for a nicer home or clothes. Nor for a better anything it is for this Ministry to survive. We found the day before yesterday a big mistake. That has been fixed one of the followers showed it to me, she wanted to donate but it was taking her where she could not.
I have never said a word about money out of greed. I have never begged for it, nor will I. I do know what our Father says and I will and do stand on that. I am a Christian blood bought and paid for in full. There is nothing that we want that is not needed for this ministry.
I was blessed with the building I am writing in this morning and I named it the ALMs Chapel our computers (Debbie’s and mine) are set up in it and slowly but surely it is coming together and I am believing one day that I will meet some of you right here. I believe that our Father put me here for a purpose. I also believe that one day I will be about to help others the same way I have been and am being helped this day.
Scriptures For Todays Prayer
1 Timothy 6:6-10 (MEV) 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain that we can carry nothing out. 8 If we have food and clothing, we shall be content with these things. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil. While coveting after money, some have strayed from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Hebrews 13:5 (MEV) Let your lives be without love of money, and be content with the things you have. For He has said: “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:7-8 (MEV) 7 Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you will enable them to inherit it. 8 The Lord, He goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed.” Luke 12:15 (MEV) Then He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness. For a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (MEV) 1 Know this: In the last days perilous times will come. 2 Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, truce-breakers, slanderers, unrestrained, fierce, despisers of those who are good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Turn away from such people.
Closing For Todays Prayer
I pray today Father that the words I have written down here are words from You inserted into my heart. I pray Father that these words are read and heard from You. I pray Father that today some will draw closer to You from this prayer. I now ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
