Morning Prayer For 08/11/2018

Well, here we are again, alive and well! Or are we? Yes we are alive and that brings up the question are we really or are we just here, just getting by hoping for better things to come into our lives? I often say I woke up today so I am one day closer to going home. The Bible tells us this world is not our home that we are only passing through here. Do we believe that, do we desire Heaven? I heard a speaker make a statement the othre day and it was a shocker, to me. We need to die in fact we are DYING and that is the problem… Have we died to self have we actually let go of this world and grabbed hold of Jesus and God’s world?
Do we really trust our Father to take care of us. Do we put our offering or tieth in the plate because we actually want to or because we have to? The reality of it all is that our Father does not need our little gift, as we call it, He does not need anything we have for He is the one that gave it to us in the first place. What we need to do is die of SELF and come to the fact that our Father actually loves us. More than we love ourselves in fact more than we are capable of loving ourselves…
He loves each of us so much that before we were even thought about He gave his only begotten son that we might LIVE. So the question today is are we really living? Do we actually live, understand and believe and live Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Is it really Christ who lives in us or is part of us still this world? Do we really believe Hebrews 13:14 (AMPC) For here we have no permanent city, but we are looking for the one which is to come.
Being Honest who really knows and lives these 2 scriptures and is looking to that day when we all will kneel before Him in heaven? How many of us wake up asking our Father what He desires of us today? How many are sure they are going to Heaven and are willing to do what our Father asks of us?
I spent the last two days sitting in a church listing to people that I did not know. Yes I had heard of a couple of them, however, I walked out with a different attitude about our Father! He loves us and He gave to us something that we can not give back. However what we can do is take what He has given us and use it. For example while I was writting this part of the morning prayer, just about an hour 360 people died lost. Think about that none of us know when we are done. Are we really ready to go have we done ALL that we need to do has all of our family heard the story of Jesus all of our neighbors, all of our friends, all of our fellow workers? How about the check out people at Walmart or at the hardware store. How about the clerk at the Dollar General store. Are we really ready to meet our Father are we really ready?

John 3:15-17 (AMPC) 15 In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may [a]not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!
16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([b]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

Psalm 103:13 (MEV) Like a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord gives compassion to those who fear Him.
1 John 3:1 (MEV) Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Romans 8:15 (MEV) For you have not received the spirit of slavery again to fear. But you have received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.
Isaiah 64:8 (MEV) But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; and we all are the work of Your hand.
Proverbs 3:11-12 (MEV) 11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be weary of His correction; 12 for whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father the son in whom he delights.
2 Corinthians 6:18 (MEV) “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
2 Samuel 7:14 (MEV) I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to Me. When he goes astray, I will correct him with the rod of men and afflictions of the sons of men.
James 1:17 (MEV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning.
Ephesians 2:10 (MEV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 4:4-6 (MEV) 4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you were called in one hope of your calling, 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Psalm 127:3-5 (MEV) 3 Look, children are a gift of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; he shall not be ashamed when he speaks with the enemies at the gate.
Think about it, or Father our Lord has given us all we need to do what we are to do for the Kingdom are we doing it? that is the question that each of us needs to answer… I now pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ–AMEN!
