Prayer is the fuel for Christians to keep going. Prayer is what keeps us charged and in the fight. Today this prayer is about America. I am a part of a country that was founded and formed on Godly Standards, and it is about time we woke up and returned to them.

Prayer For Saturday December 8, 2018
Morning Prayer For Saturday January 19, 2019

What is a Christian? One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows a religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus. It is time—time for Christians to become who they are suppose to be. This started a long time ago now. And I started this morning out reading some garbage and then a prayer so here we go.

I have had it we have Christians that claim to be Christians anyway. And I am going to get nosy and probably make some people mad however right now I am MAD AT HELL and am not going to take it any more… If I was to title this Prayer I think it would be “We Are To Be The Temple Of The Living God!”

A Christian is not perfect by a form of the word just forgiven. However we have a duty and that is to work at being as much like Jesus as we can. We all make mistakes, we all slip and fall. If you say you haven’t then you just did for you just lied.

I believe we all as Professing Christians should know and learn Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Do we really we profess to be but when someone at work tells a nasty dirty joke are you standing and listening and laughing with the world or do you walk away? The point I am making here is found in

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (MEV) 14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness? 15 What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he who believes with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live in them and walk in them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”[a] 17 Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”[b] 18 “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”[c]

We are told in verse 17 to come out from among them and be separate… do we? It is time to pick a side and there are only 2 Heaven or hell..

Think this is where we get confused. We are not to leave them we are to show them Christ in us and live what we say. We are just not to go to the bar and drink with them or stand and listen to them us Gods name in vain. Let them see Jesus working in our lives let us be that beacon, the light house to show them the way. We need to be different we need to be an example of something better than what this world has to offer.

When someone is having a hard time offer a helping hand, offer a prayer, leaned them a hand. Last night we watched a movie that we had not watched in a couple years. War Room and the part that got me was when this guy had a flat and he was screaming and yelling at the company to get out there and fix it. The black man, the actual star, the one that this guy wanted to arrest. Got out of his car picked up the tire tool and jack and changed the tire got in his car and drove off.

The guy just stood there could not say anything he was amazed the man he wanted to prosecute just helped him out.. That is the example of Jesus that we need to be. Just the little things a lady with a cart full of groceries and a crying baby. Stop and take a minute and put her groceries in the car for her. Look around and see who we could leaned a helping hand to…

Lord I pray that this is what You wanted out of me today. I pray that I can be an example of God’s love to someone today. I pray that we grow in Your love and that we learn that we might be the only Jesus someone might see. I pray this all in the precious and wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!

Spread the love
