The Grace of God… It is sufficient, it is always there, and it is always true. I spent the morning in an argument with myself over Gods grace. Knowing it is there knowing I have it and yet questioning. However I have learn questioning is what I do and answering is what He does…

1 Peter 5:8-10 (MEV) 8 Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him firmly in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
10 But after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory through Christ Jesus, will restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (MEV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9 not of works, so that no one should boast.
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 (MEV) 8 I asked the Lord three times that this thing might depart from me. 9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
I tried to separate these scriptures and I just kept coming back to them I first went to 1 Peter 5:8 reading that one needs to be sober and watchful. I had to stop and think because I gave up drinking a long time ago. Be sober not intoxicated or affected by the use of alcohol or drugs.
Well that is not me or what Peter is saying so then I read on and found: Be straightforward and serious; not exaggerated, emotional, or silly. Serious or staid in character or conduct refrained from making a judgment until all the facts came out.
As I read on I see I must resist the enemy firmly in faith. So what is going on is only temporary. Then I was lead to Ephesians 2:8-9 and I read that by grace through faith I have been saved and there is nothing I can do to earn it because it is not of works that anyone can brag about it is all FAITH.
Paul asked the Lord 3 times to remove the problem the Lord said to him and me “My grace is sufficient for you… He says His strength is made perfect n my weakness. So I will brag or give credit to the Lord because of my weakness so that Christs power may rest upon me…
I am sure that someone reading this is in the same boat and that is why it took me so long today to find it and understand it. We all have problems and our Father knows about them and trusting Him with them is all we can do.
Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…
