Put him in his Place

James 1:13 (NIV) When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; I am writing this today believing if we understand about temptation, we will understand how slick the enemy is and we can put him in his place.

It is time the defeated one is put in his place if we understand temptation and how it works we can defeat it. I am going to use a process that is well-known. Pregnancy I think that word is very well understood and does not need to be described in detail. The temptation comes from lustful spirit and we know where that come from also, the defeated one. Let us say that temptation is the pregnancy and it happens when our lust shows up and takes over. It now has to grow until it is birthed and that baby’s name is SIN. So we, ourselves, need to learn to control this spirit when it sticks its ugly head up.

We need to understand that it is a process the enemy is smart and not in a hurry so he will show you something you want or desire, you know that person place or thing that is in your mind. Once it is there it starts to grow, now it can be anything a large TV or a car a boat whatever then we start to lust after it to the point, we might say, make an idol out of it.  And if we do not use our protection [the armor of God and the sword of the spirit] it will grow and birth into a full-grown sin. I do pray that this will help put him in his place.

That is why read in 2 Timothy 2:15-16 (NIRV) 15 Do your best to please God. Be a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed. Teach the message of truth correctly. 16 Stay away from godless chatter. Those who take part in it will become more and more ungodly. I pray that this helps us grow in our Lord and Savior.

Memory Verse for November 27, 2015

2 Timothy 2:16 (NIRV) Stay away from godless chatter. Those who take part in it will become more and more ungodly.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And America it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
