A Reminder We Are Made Alive in Christ

A reminder that we are made alive by the shed blood of Jesus. We are truly alive as we read in Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Ephesians 2:1-2 (NIV) 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

I hope that today that we think back, did not say move back, or go back. I would like you to stop and as a reminder thing about where you were when you received Jesus and what He did for you. We just had Communion and in that time we got to remember what exactly what Jesus did for us. When Jesus said “It Is Finished” what he meant.

I feel that today we need a reminder of what Jesus did and what we have. It is not America that gave us the freedom to live. Yes America has given us the freedom to work and worship, to live and speak freely, to go and come, to live our lives. However if we are not careful we could lose it all. The enemy is trying to trap us in a sinful, disobedient world. It is your choice to accept or deny…
