Righteousness Through Faith Comes Only From God

Righteousness is there for the taking all you have to do is accept Jesus pray and read the word–OH yes and BELIEVE that is the big one…  We must believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths “Jesus is Lord”.

Romans 3:21-26 (NKJV) 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

By faith we believe in Jesus and what He did for us. All of us Jew and Gentile there is no separation in God’s eyes, He does not look at us as Color, or Creed, He looks at our hearts and what is there. Paul says that there is no difference Jews and Greeks for all are under sin.

In fact in verses 10-18 Paul lays it out pretty clearly. There are none Righteous, none that understand, even none who seek after God and on and on… He lays it out clearly that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of our Father. Thus the reason for Jesus and the Cross. I am so glad that Jesus loved me so much that He died and shed His blood so that I might be set free…

I will end with Romans 10:8-10 (NKJV) 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
