1 Peter 2:9 (MEV) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

We are told by Peter who we are a royal priesthood a holy nation, a people for God’s (our Father’s) own possession. Are we declaring the goodness of Him are we calling people out of darkness? That is the question I have?

We go to quote-unquote church on Sunday Morning take our Bible that we have never opened to mark our seat with it. We have our coffee and donuts and shake our friend’s hands put our money in the offering plate listen to the message get up walk out the door and go back to what?

Do we even remember the name of the message the Pastor spent hours preparing for us? Do we put into practice what was taught? Do we even remember the scripture he used for the message? Or do we just hope that what we are doing is enough to keep us from hell?

I am hoping someone will read this and get convicted. I am hoping someone gets fired up and actually reads this and starts listening and doing. I hope that someone sees the error of their ways and repents and takes control of their own life. I pray that this is something to help and encourage someone to keep going. I hope that it works for the royal priesthood…
