satan Is Our Enemy he Is Defeated

satan is our enemy he was thrown out of Heaven Revelation 20:10.  He has no power only what we give him and it is time that we stop.  I hope this is read and understood and see why I call him the enemy or the defeated one.   He can only do what we let him do and I hope after reading this he can do even less in your lives.

I believe it is time to take the punch out of a couple of words. For years I would see this two words used as proper names and I did not understand or did I know why it bothered me so much until I did some research and then heard a sermon on it.

So I think we need to understand just what is going on and stop making this slanderous liar something he is not. According to Revelation 12:7-9 (AMP) 7 Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought. 8 But they were defeated, and there was no room found for them in heaven any longer. 9 And the huge dragon was cast down and out—that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him. They were cast out of Heaven and sent to earth.

Then we find in John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. He, satan is here to steal, kill and destroy however Jesus came to GIVE us LIFE and we can have it MORE ABUNDANTLY. Well we know that he can not take you from Gods hand John 10:28-29 (NKJV) 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. So he, the accuser, is here to steal, kill and destroy our spirit he CAN NOT take you out of Gods hand however he can lie to you and stop you from witnessing or praying as we do here. He lies to you and gets you to believe his lies.

So I did some research and I found this:

In Greek diabolos the devil is an adjective used sometimes as a noun. Meaning slanderous or the slanderer. What is his job it is to slander to accuse a false accuser to hurt and condemn to sever a relationship, a backbiter.

saw-tawn’ The English word Satan is an anglicized form of the Hebrew satan, meaning adversary, enemy or accuser. It occurs 33 times in the text of the Old Testament [according to what version you are reading].

Although the English word is often written with a capital “S”, satan is not a name at all. It is a common noun (occasionally occurring also in a verb form) which means “adversary,” “enemy,” “accuser,” and is often translated in these or similar ways, depending on the version of the Bible. Generally the term satan is used to refer to human beings, but there are a couple of interesting exceptions! These words were spelled with Capital Letters in the translation. So let us let him know we know who he is and that he is a liar. Let us stop giving him credit for something he can not do. Let us call him what he really is a LIAR, a THIEF and a DECEIVER and nothing else and yes we have an enemy.
