Separate Ourselves from the World

Separate ourselves from the world, a large amount of the world is out to get Christians. I think it is due to guilt and they do not wish to give up the things of the world… We are told this in 2 Corinthians 6:17

Separate Ourselves from The World

2 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

This first time I read something like 2 Corinthians 6:17 was in Isaiah 52:11 (NKJV)  Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of the Lord. I feel that we should separate ourselves from the enemy. We should be prayed up when we have the opportunity to be a witness to them. In fact, we should be played up all the time.

I have heard others say well I cannot sit around and pray all day. That is a lame excuse straight from the pit of hell. We do not have to be face first on the floor all the time to pray yes there is a time for that in some cases. Or kneeling or closing our eyes and putting our hands together. We can pray as we walk down the street or drive. We do not have to pray out loud all the time.

Actually, I have listened to people say that the right to pray has been taken out of school–has it really? I think what has happened is the enemy has made a statement and some have followed. We are told if we know to do good and do not do it then that becomes sin James 4:17. What we need to do is teach our Children to pray as they walk down the hall or sitting at their desk. When a child sits down in the cafeteria they can bow their head and pray. See they have not taken it out of school the way one prays has changed is all, let us teach our children to separate themselves from the world…
