Service That Pleases God, What Does That Mean To You?

Service that pleases or Father. Is that what we represent to others, is that what others see. One of the strongest things I think about when I think about this is “I might be the only Jesus that person might see”… Am I being a good representation of Jesus to others…

Scripture Verses of Devotional

Hebrews 13:5 (MEV) 5 Let your lives be without love of money, and be content with the things you have. For He has said:
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 (MEV) Be strong and of a good courage. Fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, it is He who goes with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:8 (MEV) The Lord, He goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed.
Joshua 1:5 (MEV) No man will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, I will be with you. I will not abandon you. I will not leave you.

Hebrews 13:6 So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Do Not Be Guilty

I see it all the time in fact I have been guilty of it as well. I have repented and am working on not looking at what I want but at what my Father desires for me. I do not desire riches. I do desire to be debt free. Something to work toward. God has taken care of Debbie and I in spite of me.

I Am Not Looking To Be Rich Nor Famous

I am wanting to draw as close to our Father as humanly possible. I have been good and bad. I have had and have not. I have seen life from both sides, un-saved and saved. I have walked away and ran back. I have felt His healing hand on me.

I have taken Hebrews 13:5-6 to prove or show a point. Our Father loves us and desires to take care of us. He also gives us directions in verse 5 we are told, do not love money be content what we have. I know that can be hard. When others have and strut around showing off.

That is why Deuteronomy 31:6 is there be STRONG and of GOOD COURAGE. Believe He will meet our needs. He even tells us to fear not… If the best thing that could happen to us is the worst thing the enemy can do to us then why bother fearing… Our Father will NEVER forsake us.

Then we find more support in Joshua 1:5 No man will be able to stand against us in all of our days. Why, because as He was with Moses He will be with us. The question is do we believe this?

Next we see in Hebrews 13:6 Again we see and are told that our Lord is our helper. So we can boldly say “What can man do to me” Again if the best thing that could happen to us is the worst thing the enemy can do to us then why bother fearing…

Then we see in Psalm 118 we see again the Lord is by our side so why fear?

Lord let us grow in Your love and give us understanding, discernment, knowledge, and wisdom in all that we do and help us grow in Your love. In the precious and wonderful name of Jesus I do pray this all–AMEN
