The morning prayer today is about Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter that begins the Holy Week. It is the day that we remember and celebrate the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as Savior and King.

Morning Prayer For Palm Sunday April 14, 2019
Morning Prayer For Palm Sunday April 14, 2019

Zechariah 9:9 (MEV) Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! And cry aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king is coming to you; he is righteous and able to deliver, he is humble and riding on a donkey, a colt, the offspring of a donkey.

One can find the complete story of Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King Matthew 21:1-11

As Jesus rode a donkey into the town of Jerusalem a large crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road, giving Jesus royal treatment. The hundreds of people shouted “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

This will bring out many people that do not set foot in church next Sunday. It is the start of the week Jesus spent before they changed their mind and crucified him. My morning prayer today is that those people get the real meaning of why Jesus had to die. Why one must accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Let this Sunday be the beginning of a new life for those that only attend on Christmas and Easter. Let it be a time for Christians, Pastors, are given the words that will wake up people around the world and show them why they need to accept and follow Jesus Christ. Let them hear the words that tells them why they need Him in their every day life…

Lord prepare our minds, and our hearts. Prepare us to be the example of what being a Christian is. As one reads the following Scriptures think about what our Father did for us ALL. And how we, as Christians, can be a witness of why and how to be a BELIEVER

Hosea 13:14 (MEV) I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from Death. O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your sting?

1 Corinthians 15:55 (MEV) “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?”

Psalm 118:26-27 (MEV) 26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. 27 The Lord is God, and He has shown us His light; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

Luke 19:41-42 (MEV) 41 When He came near, He beheld the city and wept over it, 42 saying, “If you, even you, had known even today what things would bring you peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

John 11:25 (MEV) Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live.

Deuteronomy 30:14 (MEV) But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, so that you may do it.

Romans 10:8-12 (MEV) 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach: 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is generous toward all who call upon Him.

Isaiah 28:16 (MEV) Therefore, thus says the Lord God: See, I lay in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, firmly placed; he who believes shall not act hastily.

My prayer today is that we all grow in the wisdom and knowledge of what happened this week. That we all become more aware of the people around us who is lost and on their way to hell… That they can be saved and should be! Help us Lord to be ALL that You desire us to be. In the precious name of Jesus I pray this all—AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…
