Shinning to light the world is those who believe. Trying to turn out that light are those who do not believe. For they do not wish anyone to see the truth and so they desire all to live in darkness.

Today’s Scripture

Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

We Are To Be A Light To The World

Matthew 5:14a, says we are the [not a light the light] of the world…

By Being A Christian

We cannot be hidden Matthew 5:14b shows us…

We Are To Give Light To The World

As found in Matthew 5:15 we are to give light to all who live in the house…

How Do We Glorify Our Father

By letting our light shine before man…

Short and simple we find that we are to be THE light to to the world. We are to shine bright to light the way to eternal life in Heaven with our Father, God; with our Brother Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit…

1 Peter 2:9 (MEV) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
