The Morning Prayer For Friday March 22, 2019
Morning prayer is breakfast for ones spiritual life. It is our strength, it is how we gain the will to be and do the things we are to do. It is amazing how easy it is to talk with someone about the Lord. They will give you openings if you just listen.
I heard some one say that one needs to be ready “in season and out of season” and I said did not know there was seasons to be a Christian. I then shared with them that being a Christian is a 24/7 thing. He said that was impossible, that we make mistakes all the time. Yes we do however we repent and pray and move on.
Making Mistakes
In sports if they quit when they make a mistake there would be no sports. If lawyers quit when they make a mistake (if the would admit it) there would be no lawyers. Nor Doctors or plumbers or electricians and on and on.
Phony Excuses
I believe people look for excuses to stay a sinner for they think they like the life they are living. It is like the periodical son he was eating with the pigs, and we all know what they eat. However he was smart enough to think he would be better off as a servant in his fathers home than in the pig pen.
Well that is what I am saying how can anyone be happy wallowing in slop with the pigs and like it? We are to be servants in our Fathers house and we end up spending eternity in Heaven with Him and not in the pig pen.
I know from experience drugs, or alcohol, will not and does not get rid of anything it covers it up for a little while then when one wakes up there they are still. Most things that make us want to hide are mistakes. Things that we did wrong and trust me I have many as well.
Trusting In Our Father
However, we can give them to our Father and He will get us through them one at a time. I feel our biggest mistakes or maybe I should say my biggest are with my family. Children are the ones that pay the price. How many times have I heard it’s to late, NO it is not it is never to late to try and fix what went wrong. We must, for lack of a better word, man up and I guess with ladies it is woman up and face them.
Our Father will walk with us right through them and sometimes He will even carry us through them. We need to work on them and of coarse ask for forgiveness and repent and move on…

Woe unto the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short.”
I pray today we all can grow in the love of our Father and become all that He desires us to be and do in His name… Let us be a witness to His love for the lost. Let us be all that He desires us to be. In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior–AMEN!
