Sin In The Church In Days Of The Bible And Today

Sin in the church and we claim to be Christians… What is the problem? Greed it seem that some thrive to have worldly stuff and not care about others it is all about self. Is that really being a God fearing Jesus loving Christian?

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 (NKJV) 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” I would highly suggest that one to read the whole chapter 1 Corinthians 5.

It seems in Paul’s time it was happening and in our time today it is happening. We see things changing where homosexuals are being ordained. What a mess and I believe our Father is not happy, again I am not say all I am saying some and it needs to stop. I am not sure what the answer is but I am sure of one thing and that is prayer works.

It is time that we follow scripture in our lives and I think, 2 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”, says it quite well.

This goes back to serving two masters. I have said it over and over we need to choose a side. However there is only one choice for without it we have made a choice. If we have chosen Christ then we need to turn and walk away for the enemy period. If he is present we should not be.

The dirty jokes or language at work. The simple little things like if you are given to much change that we return it. I read a story yesterday about a young man that found a ladies purse with $900 in it and he took it to her. Way to go young man!

Let us work at walking the walk. We find in verse 14 what verse 17 is there for, 14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what [in common]fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what [fellowship]communion has light with darkness?

I pray that we practice what we preach and become what our Father desires. I now pray this all in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
