However the one I choose to use today:
2 Timothy 1:7 (MEV) For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control.
Sounds good to me and if doing that we do have a sound mind…
Romans 12:2 (MEV) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Breaking It Down 1st
Do not be conformed to this world. Definition of conformed is: To act, often unquestioningly, in accordance with traditional customs or prevailing standards.
Then Comes
Be transformed. Again the definition of transformed is: To change markedly the appearance or form of or to change the nature, function, or condition of; convert.
How Is Next
Renewing or minds. The definition of renewing: To make new or as if new again; restore.
Now this all is done so that we may prove ourselves acceptable and perfect with God.
I have said for years in fact it was the Logo for Alms in 1985 “Caution Christian Under Constriction”
and maybe we should do it again…
However we all need to work at being better and study the word and use the word in all that we do…
