Prayer For Friday January 18, 2019

Prayer is our only way out of this mess while we are here. We need to pray for wisdom daily and we need to know good from bad and Your word. We need to be filled with You and Your power to wake up in the morning. The enemy is right there waiting…

This life here on earth can be and is a struggle at times. If one stops and looks around at all the hell going on here and all the enemy throws at us… Sometimes I feel over whelmed as I look around and read all the garbage that is thrown out. The enemy satan is busy at work and there re people that claim to be christians trying to drag others into this hell hole.

Lord give us strength, give us wisdom, give us discernment, give us understanding and most of all give us strength. There is trouble around every corner. The minute we open our eyes he is there spewing out his garbage. It is over whelming some times. The pressure we are under to stand strong in Your love and to be what You have called us to be.

Having just the simple things in life is a chore sometimes what does one do without so one can have. Do not do this because of this can not pay this because of that. Simple things that cause tension. People that will not understand, people that look for something that we might do wrong where they can sling their garbage.

Praise God for Debbie Lord she does without so much. Yes I know that we have more than many on this earth. I also know that we live here not there. I also know that You supply our needs. And yes there are times that we have to be put in our place. I also know that Your love is always here for us.

What I do not understand is people. I sometimes feel like throwing my hands up and giving up. Sometimes it is hard to take one more step, it is hard to get up some morning. A friend of mine was sitting with me and made a statement that if those that could would send me a dollar a month that You would meet the needs and I would have my needs met as well.

Now I sound like I am begging and that is not my goal. I know we all struggle and I know You provide for us. This past month is a perfect example You helped us through and there was a little extra and sure enough my computer went belly up. And here we are again in debt for a computer with money we do not have. Again I sit and pray for help.

My back makes it hard to get up and down, my kidneys and the doctor are not on the same path. The house we are in I need to get finished. Thank God for and understanding and helpful landlord. Praying blessings for them as well. We are one day from the street, is how I feel sometimes.

Scary is the feeling and knowing You are our God and that You are in control. Is all that keeps me going. Tired, hurting, broke and broken, looking around and being thankful and wondering. Why, why am I going through this, going around this mountain again and again.

Psalm 127:1-2 (MEV) 1 Except the Lord build the house, those who build labor in vain; except the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. 2 It is in vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, and to eat the bread of hard toil, for He gives sleep to His beloved.

John 12:46 (MEV) I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not remain in darkness.
2 Timothy 1:7 (MEV) For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control.
John 6:63 (MEV) It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

Titus 2:11-14 (MEV) 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and in godliness in this present world, 13 as we await the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.

This morning prayer I feel is for me more than others. Yes, sometimes I feel I am in a war alone. And on this earth I am and am not. Decisions I make protection He gives. Choices I make out come He chooses. Thank You Father for Your love. Thank You Jesus for Your Love and thank You Holy Spirit for Your love also. May this day be blessed and be a blessing—AMEN!
