Striving and suffering for Christ, only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ if I see you or not, my I hear good reports, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

Philippians 1: 27-30 (NKJV) 27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 For to you, it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him but also to suffer for His sake, 30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

This is my prayer for these groups that if for some reason you would carry on as they are now. I pray that you all know what you know and will stand on it. You all are in my prayers, I love and care for you all and my prayers are that you grow in Christ and his blessings. I am not Paul nor do I claim to be however I do feel the pressure of the stewardship of these groups that I have been given.

Believe it or not, I have concerns when I do not see you here for a while it bothers me. So for that reason, I understand what Paul is saying here. I am learning and striving with  what Paul and carrying Pastors go through taking care of and being responsible for others in and through the grace of our Lord and by faith I have accepted this responsibility as the Shepherd of the groups, and this devotional is written to let you all know that you all are loved, cared for, and missed when you are not here…
