Hebrews 12:2 (NIV) fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Is this whose eyes our eyes are fixed on Really? Do we look to Him First, do we ask Him first, do we really understand what Jesus did for us. I feel that we look in the wrong direction first, and I am not blaming you I am blaming teachers that don’t teach.

Peter warns us in 1 Peter 5:8 (NIV) Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. We need to be alert 24/7 why because the enemy is in John 10:10 (NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. He is referred to as a thief. For that is what he is here to do to try to steal, kill and destroy your spirit. He wants nothing more than to keep you in the house praying and hiding. He does not want your light shinning brightly so that others can see.

I say it is time that we take the fight to him. I am here to make some challenges First let us learn to concentrate and find out just what happened. In Revelation 12:9 (NIV) The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. He was thrown out of heaven. God throw him out and locked the door, so he can not ever get back in.

So satan or devil our ENEMY is not in heaven he can not run to God and say anything to him. So he can not run and tattle all he can do is whisper in your ear and lie to you. That is all he can do is lie to you and then try to convince you that he is correct. So we are going to start today calling him what he is a liar. The truth is NOT in him. The Devil is a malicious thug, who seeks only to hurt and destroy people’s lives. This is what 1 Peter 5:8 (NIV) Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
