The Christians Oath of Office, A Higher Standard

The President of the United States of America has an Oath of Office. The Attorney General has an Oath of Office. Congress and the House of Representatives has and Oath of Office. I figured if they do then why not Christians. I know and understand that we are saved by Grace through Faith. All I am saying is we are held to a higher standard as Christians and since we are being watched by everyone then let us have some guidelines to go by so here is a good place to start .

The Christians Oath of Office…

A Psalm of David. Psalm 101 (MEV)

1 I will sing of mercy and justice; to You, O Lord, I will sing.

2a I will consider the path that is blameless. When will You come to me?

2b I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3a I will set no wicked thing before my eyes.

3b I hate the work of those who turn aside; it shall not have part of me.

4 A perverted heart shall be far from me; I will not know anything wicked.

5a Whoever privately slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy;

5b whoever has a haughty look and a proud heart I will not endure.

6a My eyes shall be favorable to the faithful in the land, that they may live with me;

6b he who walks in a blameless manner, he shall serve me.

7a He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house;

7b he who tells lies shall not remain in my sight.

8a Every morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land,

8b that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
