We All Are A Part Of The Body Making The Church

We all are a part and it takes us all to make the Body so maybe it is time to become what Christ died for and our Father called us to be. Maybe then we can see the body grow strong and stable…

Today’s Scripture

Romans 12:4-5 (MEV) 4 For just as we have many parts in one body, and not all parts have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and all are parts of one another.

Being A Part Of The Body

As I read this scripture I thought, Let us look at our computer or tablet or even phone. There are many parts to all of those or maybe or transportation. A car or truck, there are thousands of parts even millions to make it look good and work as it should. And yes some of the parts could be gone and it would still work.

However for it to function as it was meant to it takes all the parts. Well the body of Christ is the same way we all who are a part of the Body of Christ have a part to be and each part is needed. We all can not be an eye or an ear or even a mouth. In fact none of us can be all of any part.

If we would look at ourselves as a proton in the body of Christ we then would not be so important as we might think we are. It would take a million protons to make an inch so they are very very small. That is why I am using them here.

We are not an eye or an ear or even a finger in the body of Christ we are a proton in the body of Christ. Or to put it another way we are a screw in the automobile of Christ not that important but needed to hold it all together and make it work as it was designed.

My desire here is to give you something to think about and to do and be. I had a Pastor that once said if he is was going to be a chair stacker in his church he was going to be the best one they had. If we all went at our part of the body with that attitude what a body we would build…

Think about it, is all I am saying let us try to be all that our Lord desires us to be and not worry about what someone else is or is not. Let us concentrate on being the best we are to be.

It Takes Us All

Ephesians 4:11-14 (MEV) 11 He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, and for the building up of the body of Christ, 13 until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, into a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so we may no longer be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men, by craftiness with deceitful scheming.
