The Father appeared to Solomon the He said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. Let us examine this and see if we can understand it deeper.

2 Chronicles 7:12-18 (NKJV) 12 Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. 16 For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually. 17 As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments, 18 then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘You shall not fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.’

I believe that God was saying, as I read this, that He heard Solomon’s pray and he was so impressed, for lack of a better word, that He was moving into Solomon. I believe this is happening today as well, our Father is looking for souls to move into. If we read on in verse 16 He has chosen this house so he can be there forever. I believe He is looking for people who are willing to follow verse 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

There are some rules we must humble ourselves, we must pray, we must seek His face, we must turn from our worldly ways, THEN he will forgive our sins and heal this land. That is what needs to happen today in America. God has done it all for us He sent Jesus who died and she His blood that we might be SAVED. As Paul has said in Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. This is the way we need to be and understand this our Father’s wish for us to be.
