The Sin-bearing Messiah was talked about Years before Jesus came by Isaiah. He spoke of his coming in Isaiah 53:5 told of His coming. I am sure back then was not much different than now with doubters. However let us look at these scriptures and let me share with you what I see…

Isaiah 53:4-6 (NKJV) 4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

What I desire to point out today and with hopes of understanding what I am saying. A few years ago I was reading this scripture and something hit me like baseball bat. I am going to try and explain where I am coming from, and what I was given that day.

I first desire to look at a few words and what they mean.:

Esteemed – Having a good reputation, having an illustrious reputation, respected.

Wounded – An injury to an organism, especially one in which the skin or another external surface is torn, pierced, cut, or otherwise broken. An injury to the feelings.

Iniquities – Wickedness; unrighteousness; evildoing, infamy, depravity; gross injustice.

Chastisement – Something, such as loss, pain, or confinement, imposed for wrongdoing.

By His stripes we are healed. I read this and then I read it again. The words kept running back and forth through my mind “we are healed” did not say might be nor could be not even should be. It says WE ARE HEALED. The thing that got me thinking about this was Isaiah was a prophet way before Jesus come to this earth and his words kept spinning around in my brain…

First came a scourging with a whip that was usually embedded with nails or pieces of glass or bone to heighten the pain. This is the stripes written about. Many died from the scourging before they got to the cross. I believe this is what Isaiah was speaking of when he said, by His stripes we are healed…

Meaning it was going to happen to our Savior. Next I ventured into 1 Peter 2:22-25 (NKJV) 22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; 23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

This is what I came up with in Isaiah we read WE ARE HEALED and in 1 Peter we read WE ARE HEALED… Isaiah was speaking as a day is coming when our Savior will come to earth and die so that we might live and in that if we believe we will be healed. So I think what I believe is our Lord and our Savior was Jesus Christ and that the healings of the world was placed upon his shoulders. When He died he said the 3 most powerful words we need. “IT IS FINISHED”! What we need to do is accept Him and what He did for us. He is not going back on the cross. He has already taken care of all the problems. So now I pray for the manifestation of this healing that Jesus paid for in full.

Now comes the hard part. I am not being a smart mouth but I do believe what I am saying. When we pray for the manifestation of the healing the one we pray for might need to go home to our Father to be healed. Not every time only God our Father knows what is needed. I am just saying let us be prepared,

This can be hard to grasp and only our Father really knows and understands. The one thing I do believe when we pass there those Pearly Gates there will be NO sickness, no handicaps, no injuries, no wheel chairs, no canes, no crouches, no deaf, no blind… We all will be 100% whole.. And that is what I believe and stand on…

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD… This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.

1 Peter 2:4-5 (NKJV) 4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
