There is a Thief in the House

John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Today let us look at John 10:10 there we find a story about a thief that is out to KILL, STEAL and DESTROY. First question is who or what is the scripture talking about? Second question Steal what, Kill what, Destroy what? Third question who came and give who what?

I think we should lay a foundation first. I spent 30 years worried that satan was up in heaven running to God every time I did something wrong telling on me. Then it came to me, through hearing and learning. If there was a neighbor a quote unquote friend say that lived right next door and he would just walk into your garage or house anytime he wanted and take whatever he wanted and lie about you and tell others everything you did. How long would it take you to say NO MORE. Change the locks, make sure everything was safe and secure? Not long I am sure however we have let satan [the accuser] still us blind.  There is a thief in the house and it is time to do something about it.

How you might be saying, let us look at Revelation 12:9 (NKJV) So the great dragon[a] was cast out, that serpent of old, called the devil[b] and satan[c], who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. The great dragon, the devil [the slanderer] satan [the accuser] was Cast out of heaven and were was he cast? To earth right here where we live. God did not want him in heaven for he was like your neighbor that stole and lied and cheated you. God cast him and his followers out of heaven. So next question who then is he talking to, it sure isn’t God for He has kicked him out already. So the only people he has to talk to IS… you got it us.

Now why did Jesus come to earth? In John 10:10 it says he came so you could have? death more abundantly? NO NO NO so that you may have LIFE more abundantly [plentiful, ample, aplenty, bounteous, bountiful, comfortable, cornucopian, galore, generous, liberal, plenteous, plenty] So can have life wow that makes it clearer Jesus died so that we can have life MORE ABUNDANTLY

Jesus died so that we could have life more abundantly and God has thrown the accuser out of heaven so what is he trying to steal, kill and destroy. How about is out to STEAL your DESIRE to tell others about what Jesus did for you, to KILL your JOY IN THE LORD for all that he has done for you  and to DESTROY the one thing that you have to show and tell others about YOUR TESTIMONY.  He is a liar and the father of it as we are told in John 8:44, and there is a thief in the house and it is time to get rid of him.

He is nothing more than a liar and a thief a common criminal. He has no one to talk to, only us so he is constantly whispering in your ear look at what you just did or what you have done. Then he turns right around and tries to make you believe what he has accused you of and wants you to believe you have failed God and God no longer wants you. Which is a lie for Jesus said in Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)  Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.

NOTES
[a] “The dragon:” so-called, because he is the destroyer. “The ancient serpent,” as he was revealed in Genesis 3. So in John 8:44 he is “the destroyer from the beginning.”

[b] In Greek, diabolos means slanderer or satan.

[c] In Hebrew, sav-tawn’ means accuser or adversary the arch-enemy of good.

Memory Verse for October 15, 2015

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)  Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And America it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
