Mark 12:30 (NKJV) And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. We see this first in Deuteronomy 6:5. I would like to talk about loving our Father today.

I think sometimes there are some that treat this like a video game. You are playing and the more you play the better you get. Well yes and no, the part about the better you get is true however it is not a game you can not turn it on and off. It is life and it is a commandment, not a suggestion not if you feel like it today – it is life it means a change in what you do the way you talk the way you act. It is what we do we LOVE the Lord completely, it is not when one needs something is not only when times are bad or when the electric bill is due and one does not have the money.  It really is simple two commandments “Loving God … Loving People.

Let us stop and go back the electric bill is $137.25 and it is due by. It comes every month and it is due on every month. This started when the offering plate came by and you felt or heard the Spirit say put $10 in and the argument started… There is these wheels for the car and they are on sale for $350 they are normally $495 and they would look so good on the car. So after church you buy the wheels and they put them on the car and they are looking good. Now the guy at the tire store tells you that you need a couple of tires however you do not have the money for tires also so you do not get the tires. You stop at your favorite fast food and get a sandwich and you sit there and look at the car with the new wheels.

It is about a 35 mile drive home on the freeway and you are cruising along listening to the radio and there is a pop and the car pulls hard to the right you hit the brakes and get off the highway. You get out and go around the car and sure enough a flat. You jack the car up put the spare on and start to put everything back in the trunk and when you drop the flat in you see the rim is bent bad from stopping at 65 miles an hour. Now you have 3 of the wheels one is shot and now guess what the electric bill is due and you have no money. So you start to pray Lord I need money for the electric bill please help. I wonder what would happen if one heard this… I gave you a job you got paid. I ask you for $10 in the offering, that would have gone to the smith family for food. However they did not get it. You had the money for the electric however you bought wheels for your car even when I told you that you needed two tires. If you had bought the tires and not the wheels you would have had enough left to pay the electric. So now you are asking me to help you after I did already.

How would that feel? Well thank God that is not exactly how He answers. However the Holy Spirit does talk to us however most of the time we are not listening. These groups have taught me to listen. I listen as I write and talk to others and pray, I am being watched all the time and so is anyone that says I am a Christian and yes the Bible says in Luke 6:44 a tree is known by its fruit, also in Matthew 7:16, we are known by our fruits so yes we are being watched.

As we talk and walk we are in the cross hairs of someones site. They are looking for a reason to say “I knew they did not get saved I knew it” Then they have ammunition to use as they try to justify why they are not accepting Jesus. The world is looking for a reason to not believe. I believe most atheist are not really atheist they just do not like God. The world has an opinion that once one accepts the Lord there is no more fun one has to walk the line no more laughing no more having fun. We all know that lie came from the enemy however the world wishes to believe it. So we all have to be careful in what we do and what we say, those that are trying to straddle the fence with one foot in the world and one foot in the Church God even address that in Revelation 3:15-16. We all need to pick a side for one day it is going to be too late and your side will be chosen for you…
