Understanding Whose We Are And Who We Are

Understanding what being a Christian is, because of what He did for us, actually is not that hard it just seems that some do not want to give up the world and all it garbage and become a servant of our Lord. Today’s scripture tells us how to tell who’s we are, it is actually simple

Romans 8:9-11 (NKJV) 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [because of]through His Spirit who dwells in you.

As a Christian we do not live in the flesh we live in the Spirit of God. If one does not feel the Spirit of God in there body for it is the Spirit of righteousness then you are not His… Because if is read twice in this scripture and actually could be there 3 times.

If we do not have Christ in us then this body we are living in is dead. And if dead then where is it headed? That body is dead because of sin plain and simple.. However, if one has it then because of righteousness one is alive.

There are things that happen if one actually is saved. We can go through the Bible and find Scripture after Scripture that tells us what is of God and what is not. And we can not walk in the Spirit and walk in sin both. Yes we slip the question is to we repent after the slip up? He is faithful to forgive us if we are faithful to repent…

I now pray this in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—AMEN!
