Ephesians 5:14 (NKJV) Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
Christ will give us wisdom however, we need to wake up. I have heard and I hear people talk about their ministry. Well, that is the problem with it—it is their ministry. Christ is telling us we all have a ministry, it might be in another ministry however it is a ministry that has been given to you. Example the local church. There is a Pastor and his ministry is to oversee the church it is Gods ministry and he has put this Pastor over it. Then there is a Praise and Worship ministry which is someone else this ministry was given to someone by our Lord and it will be in accord with the Pastor’s ministry. And one and on.
We all have a ministry and that ministry works in one accord with those that are involved. For lack of a better word the local church. Each ministry in that local church is a ministry assigned to an individual by our Lord. All ministries are God’s each one has been given that ministry to be the Shepherd over and they should be in one accord with each other ministry. Every ministry in every church is assigned by God—He has given a specific person a specific ministry. Let us take this ministry, for example, it is not my ministry to run your ministry, it is my duty to run this ministry and see that the whole ministry runs in one accord.
If any ministry gets out of kilter with the other ministries then the whole ministry is out of wack. A clock has many parts and they all are necessary for the clock to work take out any part and the clock stops. It is still a pretty fixture however, it does not work properly. So let us Walk in Love, Walk in Light, Walk in Wisdom…
