Nehemiah 10:35 (NIRV)  35  “We will also be accountable for bringing the first share of our crops each year. And we’ll bring the first share of every fruit tree. We’ll bring them to the Lord’s house.

Now this seems pretty simple to me…  We will also be accountable for bringing the FIRST SHARE of our crops each year. First Share we take are fruits (money, pay, gifts, etc) and we give first to the Load before we buy anything or pay anything.  That is what it means to me.

Now I hear the mumbling in the background about tithing, so please rest easy lets talk about giving.  If you are not giving what I am asking is that you do a couple of simple things.  Pray and talk to God and make a commitment.  No matter how small or how large make it to God.  Next follow through every Sunday give it to Him freely and with joy.  Psalms 21:6 (NIRV)  6  You have given him blessings that will last forever.   You have made him glad and joyful because you are with him.

I do not care what you give or how much all I am challenging you to do is make a commitment to God and keep it and see what happens.  We will also be accountable, is what the scripture says.  Give and watch the Lord come through and you will find yourself giving more and more.  Finding all your needs are still being met.  Our God is an Awesome God, and it is about time for us to start believing it.
