Psalm 62:9 (NKJV) Surely men of low degree are [vanity]a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.

I thought I had it all figured out. I fell into a trap that a majority of Christians have fallen into. I put my faith and belief in a person a quote unquote man of God. Was he really, that was the question I asked myself over and over.

I have no doubt that he loved God however I think I was being tricked and did not understand what was going on until about 10 years later. Then I understood one simple verse and that verse has kept me on the path I should have been on 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The King James says to shew meaning to establish the validity of something. We need to study the word and let our Father show us what it is. I placed me faith in man and got hurt. However I was taught a lesson I have not forgot. That is why I am here doing what I do. Will I make mistakes, yes, do I know it all and understand it all, no…

I spend time reading and listening for that small still voice and allow Him to take me where I need to be doing what He [my Father] desires for me to do. The insight I have been given is amazing. I challenge all who read this to take Psalm 62 and study it and I mean study not just read it and move on.

God uses man to spread the Gospel. God uses man to teach however we all are told to study the word we all are told to know the word. I was using a Bible a few years back that I do not use now because in studying I found an added scripture that was not found in any other version. The I turned to a Bible that has left scriptures out. I did it by studying and that is what I wish all to do is study the word.

A couple questions for one to think about. There are 66 books in the Bible. What theological seminary did the writers of them go to? What degrees did they have to write the Bible? Paul wrote most of the New Testament and most of that was while he was in prison. Was he smart yes I would say so however I think He was in touch with God.

Look at them all David did he make mistakes? However we read in 1 Samuel 13:14 (NKJV)But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

And then we read in the New Testament Acts 13:22 (NKJV)And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’
I wish God could say that about me, however, I can say I have repented and I have given my life to my Father through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I boldly say “I AM A CHRISTIAN” and my only desire is to do as I am commanded and be all that I can be while I am here, to advance the Kingdom.

I do write this and trust in my Lord to say what He would have me say in the way He would have me say it. I pray that all is done for my Father, my Lord and my Savior. In the precious name of Jesus I do pray this all—AMEN!
