Well it is about time for me to start writing… Man has my life changed since Eli and Daisy entered our lives. Walk the dogs, feed the dogs, make sure the house is dogitized, just made that word up. I sure love Eli he is going to make a good service dog. Debbie loves Daisy and she loves Debbie, but between walking, feeding, and cleaning it is a job but we love them and are blessed to have them.

We are blessed, and yes, our lives have changed, but you know what if you watch them they have God’s kind of love… They love unconditionally if you get on to them they forget it because you can call them a minute later and they come running with that tail wagging. Why can’t we be that way if somebody does something to us we remember it for years? So I am working on FORGIVE and FORGET…

forgive-1

by Shepherd Jym Wells

Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJV) 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Man that is pretty plain, isn’t it? Lord show me how to forgive and forget and forgive me for any that I have not forgiven and bring to memory anyone that I have not forgiven. How many of you are praying the same prayer? I do not wish to hear, but, you don’t understand what they did to me. Tell God that or better yet tell Jesus. Then remember Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Now Jesus was not born yet when Isaiah wrote that but he must have seen a savior coming. Can we say that we have forgiven those who did something that we did not like or to or against us? I have asked the Lord to bring to memory any that I have not forgiven so I can forgive them.

Matthew 18:21-22 (NKJV) 21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Memory Verse…

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NKJV) 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, [a]clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

  1. That’s really good Jym. Yes our pets are precious and they do forgive and forget. And then come running like nothing ever happened. Too many people in this world get mad and stay mad. They hold grudges. But they need to let them go even if they can’t forget it’s better to forgive and move on because it will only eat you up inside, and the other person isn’t thinking a thing about it. So we are the ones letting it get to us. That’s why I have learned not to do that. I thank God I am able to forgive and let go. I couldn’t stand to be that way and let all that bitterness build up inside me. I would be miserable. God forgave us and He expects us to do the same thing., I love the dog analogy, that was a good example.
