We go about each day TRUSTING our Lord, or do we? I am learning more and more that saying we trust our Father is a lot easier than actually TRUSTING Him. What if we do not get what we are asking for do we trust that He knows what’s best for us, or do we try to make it happen the way we would like it to happen.
Do we trust Him in all of our lives or just in certain parts? Do we believe He knows what’s best for us and accepts His response even when it is not giving us what we asked for?

James 1:6 (NKJV) But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
I can only speak for myself but I look back and I see doubting, I can remember asking for something and not getting it and wondering if God heard my prayer, then later understanding why I did not get it for it was not God’s will it was mine but what I went through doubting God, and being thankful that He did not give me what I asked for.
Why are we so selfish, why do we think we deserve anything? God gave us the ultimate gift when He gave up His son for us so that we might be saved. If He never gave us anything else He has already given us more than we deserve. Stop and think about what Jesus went through for us so that we can spend eternity with Him.
Matthew 6:25 (NKJV) Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
