Animals of the Bible

Matthew 10:16 (NKJV)  “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. This scripture was given to the Disciples as Jesus sent them out to minister. We are told we should be like some Animals of the Bible, let us look at the animals used in this verse: First we have a serpent. In Zoology A snake. Often Serpent In the Bible, the creature that tempted Eve, identified in Christian tradition with Satan. However a subtle, sly, or treacherous person.

Next is a dove. Any of various widely distributed birds of the family Columbidae, which includes the pigeons, having a small head and a characteristic cooing call. Then there is the gentle, innocent person, or a person who advocates peace, conciliation, or negotiation in preference to confrontation or armed conflict.

We can see here we are directed to be like Animals of the Bible.  We need to be  two  totally different animals at the same time  basically from both ends of the spectrum.  First we have the serpent in the bible satan who constantly in your ear telling you lies and then trying to make you accept them and believe or is it a snake that will strike out at you without any warning. Yes there is the Rattler that will warn you first that he will bite you, However there is the other end the dove who does not like conflict who had rather talk it out and not fight.

Being a Christian is like a balancing act and if you lose this balance one will be eaten up and spit out by the world. We have to learn to speak in love we have to believe in and know what we are saying. Be prepared at all times for what might come at you.

Memory Verse for November 1, 2015

Matthew 10:16 (NKJV)  “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And America it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
