Luke 9:23-24 (MEV) 23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24 For whoever will save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will keep it.
Following our Lord is quite a commitment we have to turn our backs on the world and all it has to offer. It is no wrong to own a car or a home or clothing or even food. It is wrong to put it before the Lord. If the Lord says give it, then give it. We get to offer, the more we provide the more we get.
I am not going to write a book here I am going to say this we have a book of instructions to read and use. It is not something to be ignored nor pick apart. From Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 it is written we accept it ALL. We have it to follow, to live by and to be who we have been called to be.
Let us get busy with doing the will of our Lord!

I took up my cross when I got saved and was so excited!! I had actually become who I always wanted to be, but never thought I could because the enemy was whispering in my ear you cant live for god you’ just fail him. and so on and on the lies piled up but I got me alter call at home by a song on the radio totally glued to the floor I could not move til the song was over and it released me to move. I went back to the kitchen and I broke down and said I cant live like this anymore please take away all the depression and anxiety I cant take it any more there were other things I was going through too!! but as soon as he took it away I felt the burdens lift off of me and I was so happy imminently I was never so happy in my life!! I felt alive and like I 15 years old again, so yea I took up my cross, has it been easy no but he was always with me through everything I went through!! thank you Jesus for kicking the enemy out of the way and swooping in and sweeping me away!!!
You can live for God and you have shown the enemy that over and over!
OH YES I CAN, AND I HAVE SHOWN THE ENEMY OVER AND OVER!!! AND I’LL KEEP DOING IT!!!
