Gods Final Word

Hebrews 1:1-4 (NIV) 1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Let us skip down to Hebrews 1:14 (NIV) Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? I would like you to understand what was just said here. Inherit salvation what has to happen for someone to get their inheritance so let us look at the word inherit:
- Inherit– To take by law of descent from an intestate owner. To receive by will receive by bequest or device. to receive, a right, title, by succession or under a will to succeed as heir To possess through genetic transmission, to receive from a predecessor.
- Inheritance– A law hereditary succession to an estate, title, the right of an heir to succeed to property on the death of an ancestor. Something that may legally be transmitted to an heir. The act of inheriting something, inherited; heritage, the derivation of characteristics of one generation from an earlier one by heredity.
OK now let us look at the Scripture we all agree that Jesus has inherited every thing as we read in Hebrews 1: 2 by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things now let us look at heir:
- Heir– A person who inherits or is entitled by law or by the terms of a will to inherit the estate of another. A person who succeeds or is in line to succeed to a hereditary rank, title, or office. One who receives or is expected to receive a heritage, as of ideas, from a predecessor.
So do we agree that Gods Final Word, is that Jesus was the heir of everything. Now let us look at the scripture and read Hebrews 2:9 (KJV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. See here that Jesus died for EVERY MAN. So there is no one that can be saved. We read in Romans 3:10 (NIV) 10 As it is written:“There is no one righteous, not even one; so none of us righteous it makes no difference if we are a King, a President, the riches person in the world. Or poor down and out, living on the street. And all in between Jesus died for us all.
Now let us look at Ephesians 3:6 (NKJV) that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel. Galatians 3:28-29 (NKJV) 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Romans 8:16-17 (NABRE) 16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if only we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
Well Jesus inherited everything from our Father and we are joint heirs with Jesus so we inherited it as well. Jesus died for us all, not for how good we are or what we own, Because he died for us all and let me in with this Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. If one would put their name where I have inserted my name and read it again.
I Jym Wells have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer Jym Wells who lives, but Christ lives in me; and the life which Jym Wells now lives in the flesh Jym Wells lives by faith in the Son of God, who loves Jym Wells and gave Himself for Jym Wells. And that is it.
Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
