What does CHRISTman mean to me–from Jym Wells–I remember what happened as a child the toys and bicycles. I remember the love that was felt in our home. We were not wealthy however we were happy. At least I thought I was happy although there were sometimes and today I can relate to the kids that are bullied for I was one of them. I did not just take it I did fight back. There were two names that got me in trouble if they were used “Shaky Jake and Half Crack” the Shaky Jake came because a have a problem with my vision and my eyes move back and forth so my head shakes with them trying to help me see. The Half Crack came from a fight in the first grade and a kid through a piece of broken up asphalt and hit me in the head with it and there was a scar on my head.

I got saved 4/24/1982 at 8:40 that evening in Dawson TX the home church of Lester Leo Roloff. That was the day it happened, the day that changed my life forever. I still remember the prayer I prayed and what happened that day, (a story for another time) My life was changed in the twinkle of an eye. From a drug using, alcohol drinking sinner to a Born Again Christian. On my Facebook page, I say it this way; I am God fearing, Jesus Loving, Bible-totin’, Spirit Filled, Born Again, 100% Christian Conservative, Red Neck, American… I have my opinion and am not afraid to voice it. My love is my God, my Country, and my Family, I am proud of America and will see Her Feet on solid ground again. She might be shaken however She is not broken. If you don’t love America then don’t bother me with your negative remarks do not want nor wish to hear them.

I was told this by Brother Roloff and I have never forgotten it “If you Jym had been the only person on this earth, Jesus would have gone to that cross for you.” The only way to heaven is through that man that died on that cross and Mary was the first to carry the Gospel. And I am so glad she did…  I believe these two scriptures (memory verses) and try to follow them for “this is what CHRISTmas means to me”

Galatians 2:20-21 (MEV) 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God. For if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in vain.
