Jesus The Only Way To The Father

Jesus tells us He is the only way to our Father in John 14:6 (MEV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:25-27 (MEV) 25 “I have spoken these things to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. 27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Verse 26 tells us that we have the Holy Spirit to teach us everything and He will remind us of all that Jesus did for us and shared with us through the Bible. I feel what we really need to do is listen. The problem is that He will not hit us over the head with a baseball bat to get our attention.

We are told in 1 Corinthians 2:10 (MEV) But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. And is John 14 26 Jesus tells us the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.

I feel we need to become close to and with the Holy Spirit and learn His voice and listen to His instruction. He is the how and why for us. He is here with us because the Father sent Him to us in the name of Jesus to be our Helper why want we listen and do as He instructs that is the question.

Until Jesus returns to take His Church home we have the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. He is here to help us if we let Him and listen to Him. I pray that this short devotional will help you grow in the love of our Father and make us stronger in all that we do for His glory…
